Volcano Friend is a handy card to have. As a blocker, his job is to protect your emperor. If an attacker attacks him and the attack is less than his blocking, then the attacker dies. Sadly, if the attack is more than his blocking then he dies. As an Epic, he shouldn't disappoint.
